What was the last good book you read and why?

The last book I read was a A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy SoldierLong Way Gone by Ishmael Beah. I heard Ishmael Beah speak at the Ohio Library Convention. He had a very inviting and engaging spirit. This memoir provides insight into the war in Sierra Leone and the life of the child soldiers. The memoir is also a reflection on human nature to the extent that our circumstances, fear, and limited choices can shape actions.
