She's always been the type to be afraid of her power. Despite the fact she's beautiful and smart with a great sense of humor, a heart of gold, an independent nature, and a lot of spirit, she tries to keep to herself. When she was born, their mother died. No one was quite sure why. So it was her, her brother, and her father. Their father raised her and her brother, neither of them knowing about their abilities. Until they were contacted by the school, and suddenly everything made sense. Why so many people had died. Nikita frequently accompanied her mother on field trips to farms and various other places, where she would be put to work tending to the the animals and plants and helping her mother with gathering information. From this, she developed her tough, patient and hard-working traits, which people are often surprised by when they hear about it. Nikita may seem like a girl who would hate to dig her hands into dirt but she's actually comfortable with that kind of thing. She's also very curious and loves to try new things. That is, if that 'new thing' doesn't involve horror movies, stories or games. She's never been to a haunted house before and plans to avoid those things at all costs ((Which of course means please take her to one of those :D)). She's a little geeky because of her dad, which she gets a little embarrassed about depending on who she's talking too.

Nikita was born to a scientist mother and a father who loved video games and computers. Her parents learnt about the effects of the natal vitamins, but agreed to take it anyway. It was out of curiosity, mainly - an experiment to see how the human body would function in this situation. It was a specimen, a puzzle to solve. Nikita's parents never had any other children, as they put all of their resources into making sure she grew up comfortable and didn't get into any trouble. At a young age, her parents told her what they did, and she didn't question it. She was young and so didn't find anything wrong with the situation.
When she received the letter from the Institute of the Elements, her parents declined the offer, since they seemed to be raising her just fine. However, one day Nikita found a dog on the road that had been run over by a car. As she desperately tried to heal it, she accidentally transferred its pain to herself. As she felt the bones in the lower half of her body shatter, without physically shattering, and cuts and grazes all over her body, yet no visible damage, she was taken to the hospital. She felt the pain of death as she lay in the hospital bed, but there was no release. It took several hours for the pain to fade, and when she returned home, she was taken straight to the Institute of the Elements.

However, it was the fact she'd done it on purpose that put her father off. Her mother had heard things about the bottles from a few of her fellow lab-workers; that consumption of them could change your child - maybe even for the better. Wanting her child to be the best of the best, Doctor Ulma Payes opted to take the pills, knowing full and well that since the drug was relatively new that it might have horrible consequences. When Georgia reached adolescence and began developing strange abilities, her mother told her the story, looking exceedingly pleased with herself. Georgia, on the other hand, was pissed. Long story short, when she ran away, her house was nearly blown apart, and her mother was left, severely crippled, inside. Now on the run, Georgia began going by her middle name. She took jobs when she could, but for the most part, she just avoided the police. A few years back, when they started the Institute, Georgia slipped up and was forcefully taken to the school, along with dozens of others with extremely similar capabilities.
│ Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ │ Georgia has a lot of energy and enjoys expressing it, especially through her writing. Although she is modest about her achievements, most consider her academically gifted. She doesn't tend to speak much; not because she is afraid, but because she prefers to observe others. When Georgia does talk, she is usually very tactful and fairly considerate - though most of the conversation is spent listening to the other person so she can tell how to make them more willing to speak. If Georgia gets angry, however, it isn't something you want to be around. Her temper gets a bit...explosive. She's pretty sensitive in most cases, and can be extremely defensive of those she loves. Georgia doesn't like showing off, and doesn't appreciate when others talk too much about her - positively or otherwise.

They accepted everything the doctors recommended. When Ashira was born, they were thrilled. Her hair was a strange color, but they figured that she could dye it at a later date, if she wanted. She seemed healthy enough.
Until the nurses started fighting over who got to trim the baby’s fingernails. Little diamond clippings. The child might have been torn to pieces if her father hadn’t intervened and checked out of the hospital. They tried to keep her… abnormalities secret. She felt very pressured and shy all the time, told not to trust anybody. As a result, she never made any friends. The government officials were waiting for her with her parents when she returned home from school. Flinching under the weight of a man’s hand, she was told that her attendance to this government place was mandatory, and that she’d only see her parents over Summer Break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Ashira feels as if her family wanted to get rid of her, even if they insisted she was loved. They don’t need to care for her most of the time. She still writes them, but very apprehensively.

Marley is a quiet girl who doesn't talk to anyone unless she's spoken to first. This is for a slight fear of blowing up in people's faces and killing them. She is very hard to anger and takes almost anything as a joke even if she is truly hurt inside. This means that she is an overall fun person to be around and if you're her friend then she's the weird spunky one trying to make everyone laugh even when it's a serious time. She tries her best to be on everyone's good side and has a heart of gold even though it doesn't always seem like it.

||•| History |•|| Like everyone else who went to the school, her mother took failed drugs that changed her child. There seemed to be nothing odd when she was first born except for her white hair. That night they figured out that her hair glowed in the dark. Then things got even weirder. She started crying in the middle of the night as a baby and when her father went to pick her up he got a radiation burn on both hands. So the couple decided to leave the baby alone until it stopped crying. They made giant contraptions so that they could sooth her from a far away distance. This worked for a while. So she grew up as normal as possible. When she got a letter from the institute she asked her parents for answers for the first time in her life. She had known that she was different, but she hadn't known that she was part element. Her mother told her that she had taken pills on purpose hoping for a child of a precious metal like gold. Heartbroken that they had wanted something else and not her, not a useless freak, her powers got out of control and both her parents suffered extreme radiation burns and both were killed. So she went to the institute with a straight face on, not even thinking about her parents painful death.
