oshizu | 5762 comments PINSPIRATION
Duration: April 1 to June 30, 2020

People use Pinterest to “pin” things that inspire them. You can find boards devoted to food, crafts, art, photography, pets...really, just about anything.

For this challenge, participants will “pin” books to inspirational boards. How you connect the book to the board is up to you. You can try to pin something on each board or you can focus on a select few. You can pin multiple books to each board, but each individual book can only be used once.

As an example, you might pin the Mona Lisa to your “Art” board. For that pin, you might read a book about Leonardo da Vinci, one set in Italy, a book on painting, The Da Vinci Code, or a book about a mysterious woman..
On the “Science” board, you might read a book by or about a famous scientist, a sci-fi book, a medical thriller, and so forth.

If you voted for Literary Awards as this year's group theme, you could even use the Awards board to indulge in reading award-winning books for three months.
For a single literary award over the years, your progress might look like this:
BOARD: Award Winners
PIN: Booker Prize for Fiction (any year)
BOOK: Girl, Woman, Other (2019 winner)
BOOK: The Testaments (2019 winner)
BOOK: The Milkman (2018 winner)
BOOK: Lincoln in the Bardo (2017 winner)

To join this challenge, post to let the challenge leader know how many books you plan to read. If you are new to participating in this group's challenges, please check out the Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly Challenges - Start Here thread for more information.

We will all be working with the same 15 boards (rather than thinking up our own board themes), but feel free to get creative with what you pin to your boards.

Inspiration Boards:

1. Art
2. Historical Events
3. Music
4. Film and theater
5. Food and Cooking
6. Nature
7. Science
8. Technology
9. Faith
10. Courage
11. Humanitarianism/Philanthropy/Charity
12. Friendship, Love, and Marriage
13. Home and Family
14. Travel
15. Award Winners (any kind of awards)

This challenge was created by Regina, who will also be leading it. Thank you, Regina!

Q2 - Pinspiration
Duration:
April 1 to June 30, 2020

Progress: 18 out of 18+
