The only edition I could find with the new cover was the ebook from Smashwords. Added it as an alternate cover edition here:

Thank you. We are updating the cover on distributor sites now, but the instructions say not to use a retail site? Were the links I provided not sufficient?

Because I have other books this year that will go up on GR first, before any retail sites.

It should be a Torquere Press ebook edition and a Torquere Press Kindle Edition.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers because users like to shelve the edition that matches the one they own. We do not change covers on existing book records. Instead, we create alternate-cover editions, and authors can set whichever cover they'd like as the default (the one that appears on their author profile and in search results).

If a book is republished with a new cover but the same ISBN or ASIN, we create a new edition, leave the ISBN or ASIN field blank, add the new cover, and add the ISBN or ASIN somewhere in the description field. The Goodreads database is limited in that an ISBN can only be attached to one book record at a time.

We are allowed to use publisher's sites and Amazon for book covers. Smashwords is considered a publisher, so I can take covers from there. I checked Smashwords, saw that they are selling the ebook edition with ISBN13 9781301278121 with the new cover, and thus made the ACE for that ebook edition.

When I checked Amazon's kindle edition, they were still showing the old cover. I take it that cover will be changing, too? I will create a kindle ACE with the new cover there as well.

Ooops shoot. Ghost's Sight is now the first book in the Ghost's Sight series.

Is that wrong? I created a series page after adding book two for you in the other thread. Is it not book #1?

No nothing is wrong, it's all good. Just please add the Ghost's Sight #1 text next to the Ghost's Sight title on the GS page. So that book one shows as part of the series.
