i didn’t mind the genre restrictions but i also wasn’t the hugest fan so whatever you all want i’m cool with!
Maybe we could do a children’s classic? I am up for whatever you guys want though! I also know that March is kinda a stressful month this year, so I totally understand if you guys want to change things up (maybe read something short, or easier)
honestly, i think that with the stressfulness of this march, a reason that i have to buckle down and get through a book would be a good thing. children’s classics sound good! (for those of you who are like i don’t wanna read a little kids book, i mean things like Little Women, I Capture The Castle, Alices Adventures in Wonderland, etc)
Me too! I’m excited! One thing: does that mean we can’t read 1984?*cries in Orwellian*
(Just kidding, children’s classics sound great!)
So how about we start suggestions? I would love to read the catcher in the rye or Alice in wonderland!
Hey! I have a really long list of classics I'd like to read. Bare with me.-The Great Gatsby
-Animal Farm
-Catcher in the Rye
-Lord of the Flies
the fault in our stars isn’t really a classic, but we can absolutely hang on to it for another round.
here are my suggestions:
-i capture the castle
-alice’s adventures in wonderland
-little women
more might come to mind and i’ll update accordingly

Little Women is great!!! But be mindful because it's really long so extra time may be needed if we select it.
I would love to readAlice I’m wonderland
Little women
And animal farm
But would prefer not to read lord of the flies as I already read it in class and didn’t enjoy it that much!
Can’t wait for the next round!
I have already read little women. It was a hard read, but if you guys want to read it I would definitely have stuff to pitch in to the conversation. Same thing for lord of the flies. I would be interested in reading the catcher in the rye though :)
I think Little Women and Alice and Wonderland are both good choices, but I would be fine reading anything.
Yeah I really enjoyed little women! I think alice in wonderland would be good too. I'm not sure if I want to read animal farm just yet. The great gatsby i'm fine with, though!
Hey guys! For round four I think we are going to need to read digitally (on a phone, kindle or other device) because the nyc public libraries have shut down. If you have a copy of whatever book we choose or belong to another library go for it!

Last round, all of the suggestions were biographies, autobiographies, and memoirs. Did you guys like having a genre restriction? Or was it annoying? If you did like it, what do you think our next genre should be? Or should we delve a bit deeper into memoirs, biographies, and autobiographies?
Let me know! :)
P.S. Sorry if this sounded too commander-ey :)
