Chelsea Wolsey I really enjoyed this dystopian novel! I would recommend it for children 12+ because of its complex plot line and conflicts concerning love, relationships, and society. I had such a positive connection with this book because of its excellent characterization; I fell in love with main characters Cassia and Ky. Their love dysfunctional love story is the main conflict of the novel, but sub-conflicts include the idea of the importance of literature in the book's modern "Society" and the consequences of secrecy. It is an extremely neat take on the dystopian genre and would be a great read for any student in high school or middle school. I am a huge fan, and I cannot wait to read the two books that follow in this trilogy!
