I’m currently reading this book and there are NO WORDS for how much I love it
I finished Chain of Gold two nights ago and it destroyed me in the best way possible

Siren powers actually make so much sense! I hope there’s some type of way for Magnus to detect that and warn the others. I feel like he will probably realize this first, along with Cordelia, Matthew, and maybe Lucie.

I actually believed James loved Grace for her beauty/personality and I could not fathom why. Grace is just bleh.😒

I just finished it and wow! I was not expecting that ending! I was really annoyed with James throughout the book for how he was behaving towards Grace, but I agree with your theories. There's definitely something with that bracelet affecting him. And I'm worried about what Tatania will do in the next book!
This was one of my favourite scenes in the book!“Magnus Bane walked some distance into the Sanctuary, shaking his head as he studied the scene before him. “I want to know what you’re doing, but I must confess I’m afraid to find out,” he said. “A spot of demon-summoning, I gather?”
“It’s a bit complicated,” said James. “Hello, Magnus. It’s good to see you.”
“Last time I saw you, you were facedown in the Serpentine,” Magnus said cheerfully. “Now you’re fiddling with a Pyxis. I see you have decided to follow in the long Herondale tradition of poor decision-making.”
“So have I!” said Lucie, determined not to be left out.”
Yeah, that was hilarious😂 I love Lucie so much because of that.

I read Chain of Gold in June and Woahhhhh it’s absolutely amazing if you haven’t read it then you most definitely should 😂
