What are some suggestions you have for the group? Here you can tell me your ideas and complaints (hopefully there aren't any;) and other stuff you would like to tell me about the group.

We should maybe do an election (create a poll) to have another mod! If you like this idea, we can either start a folder where people can announce their “campaigns” or you can choose someone you think would be good

That's a great idea! But I think we'd need more people in the group for that. Also, won't people pick themselves?

Yeah same. I had an idea. This is more for me but if you have the same situation you can use it too. You know how when you click on a book on the app on the phone and it shows all your friends who've read that book? You could go on your phone and pick a Cassie Clare book, scroll through the people who have read it while simultaneously inviting them on the computer.

I was thinking maybe we could do a shadowhunter readthon! We could reread the books together!

Yes, I agree. I’ve read a lot of the books before, but don’t own any of them, so it would be hard for me to access them.

Here's an idea: we can submit short stories involving characters from a selected series, and post writing prompts to collaborate!

How do you wanna make that work? You can start it whenever you want.

Just remember sometimes, the folders stop showing on phones if there is more than a certain number (at least on my phone it did)

I didn't know that that happens! :0 I use my laptop to access Goodreads usually. Do we have to add a new folder for it?

We probably do have to add a folder since it's a new activity.

I love all of these ideas! And I totally agree that we should do a full readathon of all the books later.

Should we do reading challenges? I think that might help with the participation in the group. People could join challenges and discuss with each other.

We could do either seasonal or monthly challenges, maybe?

We could also start a fanfiction challenge

I have a question lol. Why is it called Chain of Gold? I've been thinking a lot about it and i feel like I know the answer but can't find it. As if it was at the tip of my tongue. Does anyone know why? :)

Um so it's called Chain of Gold because it's part of a quote from Great Expectations, which TLH is loosely based off of. The other titles are from the same quote, and The Last Hours series title itself is in a quote from Great Expectations.

omg yes. I have been thinking about it too. Grace uses a silver bracelet for her stuff so I have absolutely no idea
