Could we do like a mafia game? Someone will be the narrator, and PM all the players their roles. Only we could have a Catholic twist to it, here’s what I’m thinking.

Narrator: narrates.

Sinner: same as the mafia. Chooses who to kill (By making them commit a mortal sin) every night.

Priest: same as the doctor. Chooses who to save and give a absolution.

Saint: same as the sheriff. Chooses someone to investigate. (Because he can read their minds like Padre Pio!)

Laymen. Is basically a citizen. All they do is get killed, possible votes out as the suspected Sinner, and vote on who they think is the sinner.

How to play. The Narrator PMs the group each of their randomly chosen roles. When the roles have been accepted, the Narrator declares nighttime. During the night, the Narrator messages the Sinner. The Sinner chooses who he wants to kill (with mortal sin!). Then Narrator then messages the Priest, who chooses someone to save (With absolution!). Then the Narrator messages the Saint. Who chooses someone to investigate and receives a report from the Narrator of that person whether they are innocent or not. After all that, the Narrator declares daytime on the group, and tells what has passed (he can choose to tell in a story form) then the group votes on who to send to their death in jail. And repeat. The Saint can only tell the group their reports after the first round. If the Sinner kills a Laymen and the Priest doesn’t save him, then that person sadly dies (literally) and goes to Hell. If the Priest saves a Layman who has not been selected by the Sinner than that Laymen gets doubles vote next round. And no one can tell their roles till the end, or if they die. After they tell their role upon death, they cannot speak on the topic.

How to win: when the Sinner kills everyone or the group sends the Sinner to Hell.

Same here. When I was younger at a church went to all the kids would play games after mass, a mafia game was one of them.
