I own this one and have already moved it to a pile near my chair. This will probably be one of the first books I read this month. :) It will actually be a reread after 50 years!
Yay, Lynn. :D I own a copy as well, but now I just have to find it, lol. This will be a re-read for me as well after about 18 years.
So...idiot that I am sometimes, I realized as I began reading this that I had never read it before and somehow had managed to confuse it with Death Be Not Proud by John Gunther which I did read when I was 14! Don't know how I did that, but glad I did realize it! :)I liked this book, but can't say I loved it. What did you think, Eirelyn?
Gah! So sorry, Lynn. I got so busy this month and never got around to finishing this one. I started it but didn't get in very far. And I feel badly because it was my suggestion!I remember liking it a lot when I read it as a Sophomore in high school. I wasn't a huge fan of classics at that age, but this was one that I actually enjoyed and that stuck with me. I'm glad you liked it. :D

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!
Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.
Happy Buddy Reading!
