Kendryck Starks | 21 comments Helen - is that the book that Ed Norton adapted into film?

Helen | 2 comments Yes, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I found the main character fascinating.

Kendryck Starks | 21 comments Nice. I saw him interviewed on Joe Rogans podcast and it sounded like a really interesting story. That was before I had added GoodReads and didn’t have the book flagged.

Thanks for posting so I could update my “Want to Read” shelf. Glad to hear it’s fascinating as well!

Jackie (jackieataylor) | 6 comments I am reading Joyce Carol Oates' upcoming novel Night, Sleep, Death, The Stars for Net Galley. It's a really interesting read about how a prominent family falls to pieces after the tragic demise of their patriarch. I got really invested in the characters and felt involved with their struggles.

Ben | 79 comments That's great to hear about Joyce Carol Oates' newest forthcoming book, Jackie. I've never read her works. Is there a title to recommend to me or others to start with?

NetGalley sent me Emily St. John Mandel's The Glass Hotel a few weeks back. She's the writer of Station Eleven. I was very impressed with Mandel's newest book. Here's my brief review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show....

Jackie (jackieataylor) | 6 comments Hi Ben,
I really liked Widow's Story, and also Blonde.
Thanks for the tip on The Glass Hotel- I loved Station Eleven!

Kendryck Starks | 21 comments Manson, The Family, the 60s, a dirty prosecutor, and the FBI/CIA. What started as a magazine assignment, turned into a 20 year investigation that resulted in some very interesting findings surrounding Manson and the murders.
