I only listen to one podcast, The Popcast with Knox and Jamie. they do green lights every week and often they choose a book to green light. from their list of books I chose Bel Canto by Ann Patchett. I grew up in Lima Peru so looking forward to this one.
I need to check out your suggestion Kelly. Of course I am currently trying to finish 2, and have an audiobook in the wings.I COMPLETELY forgot! Modern Mrs. Darcy!!!! DUH!!! I have so many books in my TBR list from her blog. I'll post which one i decide on later.
I'm reading when all is said. My book club is currently reading it and a found a blog that recommends it.
I am starting "Farewell to Mars: An Evangelical Pastor's Journey Toward the Biblical Gospel of Peace" by Brian Zahnd. The book was highlighted on 2 Podcasts I listen to regularly, "Jesus for Everyone: the Intersection of Faith and Social Justice" and "The Apprenticeship Way with Marc Alan Schelske. I am loving this reading challenge as it is encouraging me to read books that I have wanted to get to but just haven't made the time to get to them. I also love seeing the books that others on this thread are reading.
l read A Good Neighborhood by Therese Anne Fowler. It was recommended on Sarah's Bookshelves Live. It was also a Book of the Month selection.
Sounds like a great choice, John! John wrote: "I am starting "Farewell to Mars: An Evangelical Pastor's Journey Toward the Biblical Gospel of Peace" by Brian Zahnd. The book was highlighted on 2 Podcasts I listen to regularly, "Jesus for Everyo..."
How is this book going, Barbara?Barbara wrote: "I'm picking Song of Achilles. A Buzzfeed recommendation for the present isolation."

It didn't go at all. Still hope to read it someday. Just couldn't get into it now.
When All is Said is a good book but a bit heavy at times. I highly recommend listening to it as it feels like your listening to a storyteller, not just a narrator.
Sounds like a great read, Sara! I am recommending it for e-audio on TN Reads. Sara wrote: "When All is Said is a good book but a bit heavy at times. I highly recommend listening to it as it feels like your listening to a storyteller, not just a narrator."
