After The End RP: NewTown discussion

The building itself is still in good condition, though the books are not. Many of the books were used as fuel for fires in the first few years.

Peter walked up to the library, his sword hanging at his side.

Harper walked into the library and headed straight to the back.

Peter smiled in greeting.

Harper quickly looked away.

He shrugged, looking away also. After a few seconds though, he looked back. "Hi, my name is Peter."

"Harper." She replied still not looking at him.

He nodded. "Nice to meet you, Harper." He frowned, looking at the shelves. "Wish there were more books left..."

"There are in the back where the employers work or worked." She murmured.

"Oh really? Thanks!" He smiled.

"Don't mention it," she shrugged.

"So, do you have family?"

"No. You?"

He shook his head. "Me neither."

"Well, it was nice meeting you. I've gotta get home though. Bye." He left.

Ciara walked in, wearing a black robe with a hood pulled up over her head.

Lucas walked through the library, his steps silent. He had been looking for something salvageable for his sister, but so far had no luck.

Ciara saw him and stopped, turning to stare at him.

Harper was used to people randomly leaving on her. She just shrugged and looked around for what she had come for, desperately hoping that no one else had found it before her.

Lucas stopped when he felt eyes on him. He turned and saw a girl staring at him. He met her gaze not knowing what to expect.

She just kept starting at him, her eyes barely visible in the shadows of her hood. She snapped her fingers, and the entire building went dark.

Lucas cursed in his head. There goes my powers, he thought to himself. He put his hand in his claw ((Is that what I'm gonna call that?)) and listened carefully for movement.

((I think it works :) ))

She walked quietly to stand behind him, and tapped him on the shoulder.

Lucas swiped his arm back hoping to get a hit. He had a feeling this wasn't going to be an easy fight.

She raised her hand and made a sheild of black energy block it, then snapped her fingers again. The lighting returned to normal, and she wasn't there.

((Nikki, after here want to rp Lucas with his sister?))

Lucas sighed in relief. But kept his guard not knowing where the girl was. He wasn't in the mood to fight but it looked like he was going to have to.

((Alright :) She's at their house.))

She walked into view again, back where she was when he first saw her. She returned to her previous position, and just stared at him.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" Lucas asked causally, seeing her gaze was on him again.

She tilted her head to the side and whispered to herself. Her eyes turned pure black, and she spoke quietly. "You do have something."

Lucas shook his head and kept quiet. He returned to looking for a book instead of engaging again. He thought that maybe ignoring her would be for the best.

She followed him, staying a few yards away. "The Darkness likes you."

"Of course the darkness likes me," he muttered under his breath. He turned a corner and walked down another aisle.

((Guys mind if I bring Jenna in here looking for her brother?))

Nat walked around the library think how wonderful this place used to be. She had finally finished cleaning out her apartment and was sad to see the shelves only held books she has already read or things that didn't really interest her.

Nat heard a slam of a book and went to investigate, but saw it was only a boy but she got mad when she saw him rip out pages of the book. "Hey! Some people would kill to read a book, so why would to rip one like that? You couldn't find a different one to read and put that back?"

She picked up the closest thing to her, which was a half of a book, and tossed it into his back lightly. "One its not just a stupid book and two you didn't answer my question."

Ciara frowned, still following Lucas. "It's attracted to you. Why?"

Lucas clenched his fist, starting to get annoyed. "It's my powers. Shadows are my thing," he stated. He flipped his dark hair and tried focus on the reason he was here.

Jenna came here next, still searching for her older brother. "Lucas?" She called quietly, pushing open the door, a bit of ice forming on the door handle.

Ciara frowned when another person came in. "Is that your name? Lucas?" She asked him.

Nat just walked away walking out of the library

Jack walked into the library there was so many memories of this place that it made him tear up. He walked down the aisles brushing his gloved hands across the books. He stopped at a random book by Edgar Allen Poe. He looked at it and said"The telltale heart"he said this and laughed. He took te book and sat down on an old chair where he started to read.

Ciara growled quietly when another person came in.

Lucas walked to Jenna, putting himself between her and the mystery girl. "Jenna why aren't you home?" He asked his sister ignoring the question.

Ciara lost interest in him and decided to go home. The entire place went dark again, and then when it turned to normal, she was gone.

"I was looking for you. And I couldn't call you because you left your phone at home."

"We'll come on let's get you back home. You know I don't like it when you venture out," he replied with a sigh.

"Sorry Lucas. I just didn't know where you went." She bit her lip, a bit of ice spreads g from around her feet.
