After The End RP: NewTown discussion

A tall building that is also damaged considerably, being the second tallest building in the town. It has a direct line of sight with the FedEx building.

Mimzy found her way to the apartment building, she walked in without a second thought and found an old empty apartment. "This will do" She said quietly, as she began cleaning the little apartment, humming as she did so.

Mimzy finished cleaning the apartment she chose, it wasn't much better but it didn't look totally destroyed anymore. She went around to all the taps testing if any of them worked, and found the one in the bathroom produced a small stream.

Scree was walking around outside, insomniatic. He slipped inside one of the old buildings to get out of the cold wind--he hadn't wanted to go back upstairs to grab his jacket. He really hoped no one was here.

Mimzy sat with her back against a wall, quietly singing a lullaby to herself. She remembered back when her mom would sing it to her, the child stopped believing she heard something.

Scree thought he heard something and quickly looked around.

Mimzy pushed away her fear and started towards the sound.

He heard footsteps and quickly hid behind the front desk. A small dagger of ice formed in his hand.

Mimzy stopped on the other side of the room "I'm not going to hurt you" She said, her soft voice echoing.

He realized it was her and slowly came around the other side of the desk.

Mimzy watched Scree "If you're going to kill me, fine" She said.

He just looked at her.

Mimzy stared back at him, she still wasn't afraid of him.

He looked away, hating that a little kid could make him this uncomfortable.

"Why do you hate me?" Mimzy asked after a few minutes of silence.

"I don't hate you."

"You act like it"

"I don't do 'people'." he said with a slight shudder. He was still gripping the ice knife.

Mimzy nodded in understanding "I only wanted a place to warm up" She said, explaining her reason for being at the house.

He just looked at her.

"You made it clear though I'm not welcome, but that's okay" She said, holding no ill feelings for him.

He nodded.

Mimzy went up to the apartment she chose, grabbing a bit of the food she had found and brought it back. She held it out to Scree. "Here, this is for the sandwich that girl gave me"

He shook his head.

"Just take it" She insisted, it was her nature to repay what others did for her.

He didn't.

Mimzy left the food in front of him, before retreating to her choosen apartment.

He didn't touch it. He glanced down, he was still holding Christi's bag of blades. He needed to get rid of it somewhere.

Mimzy leaned against a wall again, softly singing to herself again, she always found singing calmed her.

Scree silently left.
