What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I think that this book became a movie. And I can’t remember what it’s called to save my life. I’m not sure if I can picture the movie in my head or the characters that I imagined from the book. But anyway...

It was a book about a Dr I believe who had met someone new. He talked to her about his wife and child and talked about her meeting them as if they were still alive. But they had actually died in a car crash I believe. And he built a house on the beach, that his wife had always dreamed of, for their ashes and pictures.

Please help!!!
