Mara Mikaela (maramikaela) Hello--

I just finished reading Tower of Dawn. I was not excited about it at first. I just couldn't wait to get back to the main characters. Couldn't believe that I wasn't going to be reading from their perspectives for an entire book that is 660 pages long. I even thought about skimming it, but after about a hundred pages I was sold. I fell right into the story.

Aside from Heir of Fire, it has now become one of my favourite books of the series. Well, actually, it's probably one of my favourite books period. Primarily, because I'm thrash for Nesryn, Sartaq, the Ruks and their home.

Can anyone please recommend any books to me that have the same feel and setting?

Just for further info.... I was not a fan of Nesryn in the previous books. So this book definitely was a lovely surprise.

Here's to me hoping that Nesryn and Sartaq--and their Ruks--will be given enough page time in Kingdom of Ash.

So, please, any book recommendations will be much appreciated.

Keatyn Flores | 1 comments Hey! I recently finished the series. (I had started it two years ago, and life got in the way.) I planned on skipping the book altogether because I had the same want to get back to the characters I knew and fell in love with. But, I found this book in hard copy at books-a-million for $5, so I bought it. I re-read the entire series, and this was the first book that o was reading for the first time. I loved how she wrote the characters in a way that had you involved and not missing the others. I however, picked things out and knew what would happen before it happened. Like I knew Nesryn and prince Sartaq we’re going to end up together, and I knew Chaol and Yerene were going to end up together. Other than that predictability, I loved it. It was a new kind of love story between Chaol and Yerene that we never saw in the other books. I also was guessing who would be valg, and it caught me by surprise! If you love this series, I recommend looking into her Court of Thorns and Roses books. Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen series!
