I'm up for another monthly mini challenge. :) Course, I'm working on other challenges too, but since we can use the same book across challenges if need be, I should be OK. ;) Besides, the World Travel and USA Travel challenges I'm not under a time limit, and a year to complete the Ultimate challenge, I should be able to work on this one, too. :) I just love trying to do these challenges.

No offense but I don't see a flag on that cover, and... January hasn't quite started yet.

Dotty wrote: "No offense but I don't see a flag on that cover, and... January hasn't quite started yet. "Dotty, I think some members like to post what they are planning to read in January. Kait did say she started the book so she will likely finish in January. Also, I do see the Italian flag. You have to look carefully. It's on the far left of the Festi di Pasta banner over the shoppe. Part of the flag is cut off.
Thanks Julesy. I will actually finish Camp Sunshine tonight. I have the Epilogue left, and I have posted my review with a finish date of I think 12/29. I often wait to read the epilogues so I can digest the book. I can withdraw it if the group likes. No worries. I have a lot of first books on my Kindle and a few that I was going to read to satisfy this challenge on other points. :) The little teeny tiny Italian flag is on the banner. I double checked that on Amazon. I wasn't certain from the Kindle cover. Again, if there is disagreement, I can withdraw it and make Death al Dente a first in series. This is my first challenge, I certainly don't want to cause a controversy! My apologies.

Ok, I see it now. Thinks I need new glasses.
Quick question... for a book with a bird on the cover or on the title, is a mythical bird ok? I've got a book called The Phoenix Project. And, I'm assuming its the bird because it also has a picture of a phoenix (not the city). :)

I will accept mythical birds. Heck, my own bird will actually be a button. :-D

For those of you who have finished, you are awesome! I'm not going to be able to finish the challenge, unfortunately. I normally listen to a lot of audio books during work but I had 2 weeks of classes that ate into my reading time.
I had my books all planned out, too! :-(
Bummer, Julesy. Here's hoping you're able to catch up on your reading soon!
I have one more book to go for this challenge, which I have just started.

Right, I managed to get my e-reader back to life so hopefully I'll still be able to finish this challenge in time. I should be ok as I only have 1 book left to read.

Fingers crossed. I just started my final book for this challenge too. I'm hoping for the best. Had to finish the last book I was writing which took more time than I expected (why does that ALWAYS surprise me?)
