I read almost anything from picture books to hefty non-fiction tomes. My favourite, though, is mystery and crime fiction. I look forward to seeing what others share here. I'm always interested in finding out what others are reading and why.
I hope to get some recommendations of what to read next from other participants. So Please Share!
My favourite books to read are non-fiction but do love a good fiction book usually on recommendation from other readers. I just started the fiction book 'Moon of the Crusted Snow' by Waubgeshig Rice last evening and is an interesting read so far dealing with a catastrophic, changing world in a northern Anishinaabe community - amazing how this fits right in with our world today.
I heard this morning that this is the community-wide read that HPL's Hamilton Reads is doing this year. Look forward to finishing it and seeing the conversations about it.
I read 'Moon of the Crusted Snow'. It is excellent, I'd highly recommend it. A little bit scary especially right now. He is an excellent writer. I, too, saw that HPL has selected this for their 2020 community read. I'm looking forward to see how they celebrate this and the programming they put in place as I'm sure it will be virtual.
I haven't read Moon of the Crusted Snow yet, but just added it to my TBR pile! I read a bit of everything, I love non-fiction, as truth is usually stranger than fiction. For fiction though, I'm a big fan of sci-fi post-apocalyptic and dystopian novels, there are also some great series for these genres in YP fiction. I'm also drawn to a good mystery or historical fiction and books with quirky characters.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts as we read and explore the world of books together. Should you feel so inclined please take a moment and tell us something about yourself and your reading interests!
