Yet another woman I've been longing to read. Anyone else? A House and Its Head or Manservant and Maidservant, perhaps?

Oh yes, Erik -- I have yet to read my first book by her, but I have a bunch waiting to be read. I'll join you for any you want to read.
Wonderful! Again, I don't know when this read might take place, but just keep an eye on this thread. :)
Hello, I'd like to read A House and its Head. I started it and gave up, but would like to give it a proper go.
Welcome. We'll read that one (House/Head) first, and then possibly another. Now we have to figure out a time period that works for everyone.
Hello, if someone could let me know how, I will start the discussion thread for this - February is only 11 days away!

I started it and added to the bookshelf. But I don't know the schedule or end date, so someone else can edit that info in.

May join you, but not sure. I started House about two years back, and, much as I love James, Compton-Burnett is even more maddening to read than him: no speech tags, mostly dialogue, etc. But I may give it another go with others alongside this time around!
Hello, everyone -- this is slightly embarrassing, but my copy of this has not arrived yet. I ordered it a couple of days ago after finding that none of the bookstores or libraries near me had a copy (I thought for sure that at least one of them would, but I should have found out sooner!). It should be here soon, but you all can start reading it if you want and I'll catch up later. (Or we can postpone the schedule slightly?)
Hello Proustitute and Erik, I hope you will join us...Proustitute, thank you so much for setting up the discussion thread. I know I am dumb, but I am not sure how to do the other bits you mention. If you send me a message worded for dummies, I will do what I can. apologies! Erik, no problem, just join in when you can...
