He was SO sure of himself. Why not, since he’d been repeatedly protected for 20 years. But this was over the top. The guy was mad.
Of course he thought he would get away with it. He knew people in high places and he was an important person to the crown. And besides, he didn't kill anyone too important that Jarvis wouldn't overlook his actions, right? Well, except for the attack on Hero.
He must have been a bit mad. There was no way he was going to get away with killing Sebastian for example.

He was sure he had diplomatic immunity and would get away with anything. However, once Jarvis found out that he shot at Hero that would be his end. If he did kill Sebastian, Hero would have told her father that he shot at her. Hero is Jarvis' Achilles Heel.
Jonetta wrote: "Sometimes I’m not sure about that, Sharon, but for now, I’m thinking the same."What do you mean? You don't think Jarvis would avenge Hero?
Jarvis is pretty ruthless and doesn’t always put Hero’s interests over his own priorities. I’ve come to the conclusion that I cannot put anything beyond him to do.
That said, I think he would avenger her...for now.

I get what you're saying about his interests, but I think he would treat Hero as a possession if nothing more. Jarvis would go after anyone who took what was his. I go back to one of the early books when Jarvis put the kill order on the men who shot at Hero.
It will be interesting to see where their story goes in the future.
