Noorilhuda | 17 comments Editorial Reviews: 'The Governess ' The Governess by Noorilhuda :

"This book is not a short, easy read, but it is well-worth your time. You will find the story to be captivating, in spite of its simplicity. You will cry with the characters, learn about human nature, and speculate on the meaning of life.....This is an excellent book!" - David Burnett, Kindle Book Review

"A page turner! Transports you instantly to other worlds. Strong characterization and good writing." - Prof. Dr. Abdul Jabbar, Author of 'Reading and Writing with Multicultural Literature'

"This isn't a romance novel. It's an exploration of some very real, very difficult social situations and weaves several subplots into the main one that follows Jane on her road to redemption and self actualization......It's designed to be thought about, internalized and talked about.....A lot to take on in a single story, but I think it is done very well. A wonderful story." - Patricia Hamill, Author and Blogger

"I'm absolutely astounded that an author has the ability to put down on paper what are basically stream-of-consciousness thought processes of the main characters.....the author obviously excels at characterization and historical immersion.....only for passionate fans of historical fiction." - K.A. Krisko, Author of The Stolen Trilogy

Justin (justinbienvenue) The title of this thread is misleading. I clicked on it expecting there to be comments on promotional ideas that worked for authors but all it seems to be is you promoting your own book..kind of confused.

I mean if you want to promote your book then that's fine but don't promote it under a misleading thread title.

Noorilhuda | 17 comments @Justin, God! do you see message 3 posted by me? An author creates one topic and updates it according to new stuff - the new stuff in this case is the blog post on promotional activities (and result of one such event) - if you had taken time out to click on the post https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog... you would have found stuff / links / stats and views of other authors on what works and how often.

Kindly unless someone has something useful to say, DON'T POST ON THIS THREAD! thank you!

Justin (justinbienvenue) First of all there's no need to be rude. I read all three of your posts and the third one your referring to mentions about how your stats faired which mentions nothing about the title name so how am I supposed to know that?

I'm sorry if you felt like I was attacking you I assure you I wasn't nor am I now, I was just pointing out the fact that you have a misleading title and information, clearly I am confused to it and perhaps others may be as well. Again I mean no disrespect no need to be hostile.
