I really enjoyed this story. It is a neat twist on the classic Beauty and the Beast tale. I give a 4.5 out of 5. I think Harper is a great character, and she shows readers that even though she has a disability, she can still fight, survive, and save a kingdom. I think teenagers will enjoy this story.
I started out not liking this book. However, I changed my mind about 3 chapters in. I agree with Katelyn about the twist on the classic Beauty and the Beast tale. Teens will see that Harper is a great role model. A cliffhanger ending will keep teens interested in the second installment. 4 out of 5.
5/5 I love classic books with a twist! I think teens will immediately like Harper and many will be able to relate to her. I was disappointed that I couldn't find the audiobook of this anywhere but Amazon Audible. I used my free book for this but now how am I going to listen to the next one? Boo!
