I'm not sure what ads any of you are talking about but I'm struck by a few of your comments. If you are truly concerned about racism the people you go after are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? I don't even get your point. As for the comment that Eldridge Cleaver is racist, Eldrige Cleaver? That's who represents racism? I think there should be at least a few million racists at the top of your list instead of these three. I know people differ about this viewpoint but racism is exhibited only by the people who look like the people in power. The overwhelming majority of business owners, Wall Street bankers, politicians, Hollywood executives and company CEOs, etc., etc., are white, completely out of proportion to the percentages in society. You may think Cleaver is not open-minded but he isn't racist. He's not part of the power structure.

Karen Yep. She said that. Only white people with power are racists- the rest of society is fine, except for business owners- if you own your own business, you're a racist too! And if you're a serial rapist, you are not a racist, but you are open minded.
I'm very confused and I'm going to bed.

WTF goes on in someone's head to say something like that?

Or is anything going on in their heads?

Nuttery like that makes my head hurt.

Someone should tell her she's a nut- it would make me feel better.

Duane will, lol.

Quite creatively.

I looked up the demographics on Danby, CT (where her profile says she lives). It's a part of Hartford. Where the White Elite huddle together against the unwashed masses.

"What books have we read on racism" my ass. Try living with it.

It seems to me that she is a white guilt person. It's one thing to read books, quite another to mingle with black people and talk with them- I did ask her to list her anecdotes and experiences.
