So true. I don't really see an actor or actress portraying Emma or Julian, especially someone I know, that would be weird.

same!! that's the main reason i don't love fancasting- because there is probably a perfect Julian Blackthorn out there, but he's probably not an actor lol. i can't really envision any of the popular celebrities portraying these characters- plus a lot of them are too old to do it! if we do ever end up with ~another~ show//film, i hope they cast young, new actors!

god, i'm never able to do this type of things. as much as i try i cannot think of anyone who would be perfect to play any of this characters. except maybe myself lol, i would love to play a character in the shadowhunters world, if there's ever another adaptation. i would actually cast myself as livvy, since my hair is the same shade as the blackthorn's. the only thing i need to do is let my hair grow (i have shoulder length hair) and get rid of my bleached ends and bam perfect livvy hair lol. change my glasses for some contacts (so i could have the blue-green eye color) and yeah i like to think i would make for a great livvy (even tho i probably wouldn't, but that doesn' matter i still wanna live my fantasy) the only con is that i am short! i'm 5'3 and i'm pretty sure livvy is described as over 5'6. ok now being serious and ignoring my fantasies maybe millie bobby brown cast as livvy. idk i am really bad at these dammit
