What do you think will happen in this book?

Well I think Lucie will somehow either get Jesse into a human form or figure out how to do so but there’s a big cost. I think we’ll learn more about Tatiana and Grace, and also more about Grace’s powers and the braclet she used to ‘control ‘ James. I think that Cortana will play another big role? Possibly since it was able to cut into a different realm. What do you think?

Jessie has to become human. because Lucie goes on to have kids with him and I don't think that's scientifically possible with any amount of magic

Yes and I think it would be cool if that information was kept somewhere so if it’s needed in the future.... or if Magnus helped with it!

And I think someone will figure out about The gracelet

Yeah! I really want Lucie to be a bigger character, right now she's one of the minor characters... I think she wants that too XD

OK Y’ALL. So, in Ghosts Of The Shadow Market, there is a short story called Learn About Loss. It has Jem as brother Zachariah, Sister Amelia, and Belial. The same Belial that is the villain in Chain Of Gold. The issue? The short story takes place in 1936. That’s 33 years after Chain Of Gold!!! Which means that Belial obviously doesn’t get killed or banished(if he his banished it’s obviously not for long). And he owes Jem a favour. What did Jem do that made Belial feel that he was in debt to him? Thoughts on this? What do y’all think?

I also now think Belial isn’t the main villain if he doesn’t die or get banished. So maybe we’ll see the true villain in this book?

yeah either way she’s a villain. Maybe she summons another greater demon?

So I was scrolling through CC’s tumblr to see if I could find any thing about TLH she may have dropped earlier (like 2017 ish).
So in a Q she said that James has more powers that we don’t know about! Thoughts?
The gracelet also has more powers that are not about emotions and control- thoughts?
And the family tree- it was made either because the person thought it was fact or the TLH cast made it misleading on purpose.
Tatiana’s birth date and Lucie’s are incorrect. Why? According to the tree, Tatiana is the eldest Lightwood sibling(but she is in fact the youngest) and Lucie I believe is said to be born a few years earlier(or later) then she actually was. Why do you think these dates were changed?
Apparently (looking at theories) there were mentions of burn marks in the London Institute (QoAaD I think). Does it get burned in TLH?

well, Belial did say something like the fools think I won't recover for centuries but it won't take long so there's that. and Tatiana is just.. I'm wondering what she'd do as an iron sister

coming back to gracelet, I'm sure there's more to it.. it's like .. when Grace got Matthew into kissing her I literally hated her.. idk what she's gonna do and I'm thinking about it

and where is it written that Lucie has kids with Jesse? because I haven't read that.. but yes even before reading it here I knew Jesse would become human somehow and be with Lucie

Well in the shadowhunter family tree it says Lucie and Jesse have kids, but Cassie said we can't rely on the family tree anymore

ugh i remember being so excited because of that family tree- it said that Cordelia and James marry and have kids, and the same for Lucie and Jesse. it betrayed me big time lol. we can no longer trust things like that agh!!

According to Cassie's tumblr, Cordelia will try to solve the Alistair against Merry Thieves, so I'm excited to see how that goes. I wanna know what she'll think of Alistair when she finds out

Yess, so many authors are releasing their books in 2021. I mean, we haven't even finished 2020. It kills me having to wait that long!!

Also, what do you guys think of the color combination choice? Not gonna lie, the cover is stunning, but I feel like the two colors clash a little. I prefer the Chain of Gold cover, tbh
