All I can remember is that teenagers were kidnapped at different times to live in a large house with only old-fashioned technology and customs. It is later found out that the house has cameras for a sort of dark web show. The victims are forced to do Q&As frequently for their audience.I also remember a smokestack being a plot point, but I'm not sure of the details there. I'd say I read this book some time around 2016-2018. Thanks!
