As we begin reading A Spell for Chameleon, feel free to share your first impressions here.

Kandice | 944 comments I am going to begin as soon as I finish my current read. I'm actually excited that I was so easily able to get it this time!

Kandice | 944 comments I started last night. I only read a few pages, and while this is not something I would have read on my own, I like it so far.

Kandice | 944 comments I love his version of "sowing wild oats!"

- Sexist stuff: Just my opinion, but seems pretty tame so far. I have seen worse in books geared towards Young Adults that are written by women. (Also, it doesn't seem completely unnecessary for establishing the characters and adding a bit of crude humor)

HA! Yes . . . that is why I stressed so far . . . you have me greatly anticipating Chapter 3 - and I am hoping it does not ruin what has been a good start so far!

I don't think it does, but I may be in the minority. I am not easily offended. I can enjoy writing without liking the author as a person.
