Marlene | 251 comments For 48 hours, if you use the code EMMAPARTY, you can own the musical for 50% off ($9.99 rather than $19.99) at streamingmusicals.com. It was very fun. Harriet Smith was absolutely my favorite character!

If you missed it, there's another free showing happening right now (I believe) and then again tomorrow afternoon.

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 447 comments Check out the excerpt from a WIP from Abigail Reynolds. She is looking for beta readers and will be randomly choosing someone from those who comment.

If you love angst... this is something you should see. She let an evil plot bunny into her head and... OMG! Did he ever leave a trail of angst, shock, and destruction? Yes, he did. One of the commentators suggested that she should have shot that evil plot bunny and buried him. Yeah, it's that bad.

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 447 comments Quills & Quartos Publishing have several books coming out this summer and the first two are up for consideration. They look really interesting. They aren't on sale but you can preorder them. They launch in July so GR doesn't have a link yet. I'll put the US Amazon link so you can see them. Other countries can check their book providers.

Lost & Found by Julie Cooper launches July 10:

One Minute More by Jan Ashton launches July 17:

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 447 comments Last day for the $0.99 deal on Leenie Brown's book 1 in her Touches of Austen series:

His Beautiful Bea: A Touches of Austen Novella

There is an updated cover but this is the same couple.

27 reviews:65% 5-stars & 28% 4-stars

This is an adorable couple that you will see throughout the series. You will be glad you got to know them before you read the rest of the books in the series.

Nice review, Ceri! It's a book I've been on the fence about, and it sounds as though there are elements I would really enjoy. At 700 pages, though, I wonder whether this is one time it would be better if it had been released as a series rather than one looooong book.

message 49: by J. W. (new)

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 447 comments L.L. Diamond has a new book that will launch June 1: It is available for pre-order at $2.99.

There isn't a GR link yet but here is the US Amazon link. Those in other countries be sure to check out your book providers.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08912WRNF/...

An added bonus: "Don't forget that half of the first month's royalties are being donated to Jane Austen House Museum's Covid-19 Survival Appeal, so it's a fun way to donate and get a cute read at the same time. If you have a little you can donate directly to their appeal, that would be wonderful as well."
