Jamie walks out and puts her feet in the water.
She lays down letting the waves come up to her neck, “Once upon a time…”
Jamie curls up and gets into a breathing rhythm that allows the waves to go over her face. A dangerous position.
Jamie’s breathing became uneven and she came up choking. Her eyes stung and she was pretty sure she had inhaled to much water.
Jamie coughs and coughs, then she stands. She was DONE with this place. She walks away taking small sips of her drink.
Gavin saw the water with interest, ~What is this place?~
she laughed a little and sat down “ this is the ocean “
Gavin sat down and put an arm around her, ~It’s pretty...~
Gavin kissed her on the cheek, ~Not as pretty as you!~
Gavin smiled back and stared out at the water.
She sighed happily “ i can’t believe son I’ll be graduating and I’ve only gone to about 2 classes “
Gavin looks confused, ~That’s allowed?!~
“ i guess “ she shrugged and hugged her knees to her chest trying to stay warm as the ocean spray hit her and the night air started
Gavin watched her and he realized that didn’t have a jacket. He put her in his lap and hugged her tightly to keep her warm.
Gavin smiles and toys with her hair with one hand.
She smiles wider but then her face clouds when she remember s times when she was younger and her father would do this
Gavin’s face fell when he saw her growing sad.
she shook her head and flashed a smile “ its ok “ (( gtg brb! ))
Gavin brightens and rocked softly, watching the surf. ((Kk have fun!!))
Gavin closed his eyes to living the moment.
she smiles and opens them again “ i wish this moment could last forever “
~Agreed.~ Gavin doesn’t open his eyes though.
She smiles and stands up dusting off her jeans, “ want to take a walk down the shore “ she asks
Gavin stands and takes her hand, ~Sure!~
Gavin gives a friendly gentle shove, laughing.
She shoves back laughing too “ what was that for! “
Gavin shakes his head, smiling, ~Cause!~
She laughs and pulls him along but stops abruptly
Gavin trips when she stops, landing on his face.
Zia gasps and helps him up “ I’m so sorry! “
Gavin just laughs and spits out sand, ~It’s fine!!~ ((it’s cool))
She smiles relived “ i just had an idea “ she sat down and untied her boots and put the on the edge of the beach
Gavin looks confused but kicks off his shoes and puts them next to hers.
Zia smiles and runs to the water and dips her feet in
Gavin tilts his head and stands in the water like her. He winces, ~it’s cold!!~
She laughs and kicked towards him splashing
Gavin gives a gasp at her and stumbles back. Then he gives a great kick spraying her with water.
She laughs and brushes back her damp hair
Gavin laughs and walks closer to her.
She splashes him again laughing so hard she doubled over
