https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I'm glad you chose this one, Matthew. I never would have read it on my own, and the library happened to have it available, so it was the perfect storm for me.
A Spell for Chameleon is an enchanting book. While taking on incredibly deep topics like loyalty, love, and what it means to be a person, it does so with light-heartedness and levity.Anthony’s tongue-in-cheek manner with the fantasy genre makes for a fun, fast-paced read. Bink is an idealistic individual who only wants to be happy. Trent is a manipulator with a strong code of ethics. These two provide a thought provoking back and forth that had me constantly re-evaluating my own stance.
My only complaint is that in his efforts to keep it light and fun, Anthony glossed over or rushed some parts that would’ve benefited from more detail/explanation.
