Viki that seems sexist. Patti is quite a singer/songwriter in her own right. Let's change our heads and not continue the attitude, even unwittingly, that women are the nigger of the world.

I quoted John Lennon's song "Woman is the Nigger of the World".

In the late '70s - early 80s I worked with a woman who dated Bruce. She got a dozen dozen roses from him one day at the office. They looked like twins. She wouldn't marry him for religious reasons. Bruce's first marriage was a rebound.

Patti is no slut. Flip remarks like this are especially unkind, targeted senselessly at someone who lives under the shadow of someone as huge as Bruce. I find it more offensive and unkind coming from another woman. On what do you base your opinion? Check her out. She holds her own against him. She is a strong individual. There was an interview with her, I believe on NPR. She refuses Bruce's help with her songs. She has her own music, session people on the east coast. He loves her and they wouldn't be together this long if she wasn't cool. I'd like to know her music better. Women get short shrift in the music business and everywhere else.

Madonna, however, is a slut. Someone I will not identify called her an Ann Arbor Street whore. Some of her dancing, dressing, videos are what I'd call slutty. All the way to the bank.

Can you to substantiate why you think Patti's a slut?
