Roseann | 185 comments I don't usually list favorites as I read so much and it's hard to pin down which were the best, but the one book I have suggested to friends, family, and patrons this year has to be:

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman by Fredrik Backman

Just a wonderful study of a human being that had me laughing out loud and crying like a baby at the end.

I just read Must Love Otters at the end of the year Magpie - super cute - and I saw that she/they (since it is apparently a writing duo) have another book out

Erica T | 11 comments I rated 10 books that I read in 2014 as 5 star books. I would have to say my 5 favorites of those were-
The Pearl that Broke Its Shell
The Golem and the Jinni
The House at Riverton
The Light Between Oceans
The Invention of Wings

Erica T | 11 comments If we all read each other's lists for 2015, we'll probably have a hard time limiting our lists next year :)
