My favourites are "The Shaming of the Strong" by Sarah C. Williams (which I read when I was packing to move house; not very wise as it was difficult to put down), and "Appointment in Jerusalem" by Derek and Lydia Prince really inspired me.
My favourite autobiography is definitely Dark Confessions of an Extraordinary, Ordinary Woman!! It changed my life!
While I mostly enjoy comedy, I was moved by the honesty and openness in Michael J. Fox's - Lucky Man.
I think my favorite autobiographical work is De Profundis by Oscar Wilde. He was imprisoned and wrote something like a page a day, with the page taken from him so he sort of started over each day, and it's just him ranting and pining for his lover, and coming up with elaborate ways to chew him out. There's definitely an honesty to that method of writing.

Recently read it! I absolutely love it! Have you read her other books? In My Father's House is particularly good
