Maya walked in her with her dog Buttercup in her arms. She goes over to her bed, not noticing Amelia, she lays down, buttercup next to her.

Maya looked up. "Hey," she said to Amelia.

Buttercup goes over to Amelia, he sniffs her as if to say hi.

"He likes you," Maya says with a smile.

Maya waves at Rebel. "Adorable," she murmurs.

Maya tenses at the memory of Linda. She nods, because she doesn't know what to say.

"No I haven't, I'll have to pick it up." Maya says glad for the subject change.

Maya nods. She lays back on her bed.

Wolf slinked near Amilia's dorm.

He leaned on the wall. waitting to talk to her

Maya shrugged.

"I am. Just waiting for my date."

((outside.he ain't gling to go into a girls dorm.without permission.))

Maya smiled thinking about Katia. "Who's your date?"

Maya stood.

"I'm not sure I've met him." Maya says.

Wolf rubbed his tattooed hands. neverous.

"Is this Wolf?" Maya whispers to Amelia.

"I ship it," she says annoyingly.

Maya smiled.

Maya went to the Ladies room to get ready.

Laavi enters looking for Amelia. She hears the text and goes to the library

Laavi was standing by the door, smiling

She smiled, "You guys are cute"

Laavi nods, "They do! And they both look great"

Laavi shrugged, "We only care because you're a good friend"

Laavi smiled at the two. "I'll see you later Amelia," she said, and left to give them some privacy.

Laavi came in smiling and looking for Amelia. She was wearing (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] She wanted to tell her about her night with Abraham. The smile dropped off her face when she saw Amelia crying. "You ok?" she asked, concerned, sitting next to her.

Laavi wrapped an arm around her, waiting for her to talk when she felt like it. "Do you want me to leave?" she asked, familiar with the idea of needing space.

"Okay," she said

She wanted to help but really wasn't good at stuff like this. "Do you know why?" she finally asked softly.


((I got some more time after convincing my brother he's not hungry))

She understood why Chris was mad. Her mom often did this. Even though dad had left her, she wouldn't date so as to not "replace" him. Laavi sighed. "I think I know why he was mad"

She looked out the window nervously, not sure if it was her place to tell Amelia this. But she finally said, "I think when you said that you were there to put a head on his shoulder, he felt like you wanted to replace her"

Laavi sighed, "I know you didn't mean it but sometimes people just..." she trailed off, her eyes welling up too. She was glad Amelia wasn't facing her.
