The Academy for Goddesses and Gods discussion

The photobooth will be held at the outside of the castle, and will glimmer under the night sky. It is perfect for couples to take polaroids, or even for friends to simply hang out and take group photos!

Aeris walked quietly to the photobooth with Emerson, still slightly angry at her because she was clearly lying to him.

"So Em, I don't want to repeat myself. You should know why I'm angry," Aeris told Emerson, and sighed as he sat down on the swing, living a mini gap in between the both of them.

"Cancer?" Aeris was thoroughly shocked, but sighed. "I d-don't know what to say Em. When did you find out?" he asked.

"Why didn't you tell me ? Why do you pretend that everything's okay?" Aeris asked her gently, not raising his voice, and was genuinely concerned.

(( yeah im on a call with my friends so i come on and off ))

"But you're never a good liar Em, like it's so obvious that you look tired, exhausted, and I just worry even more when you try to be tough," Aeris reached an arm over her shoulder, and pulled her closer. "Silly girl," Aeris spoke, while leaning his chin on her head.

Aeris was not sure if he could be with someone long-term when they refused to let him help them. He did not want to tell that to Emerson, in case he spoiled the date.

"So what's the treatment situation like?" he asked her, rubbing circles on her left shoulder while her head was leaning on him.

Aeris heaved a sigh of relief, "I see. So it's not that bad. Well, you could've just said something. I'm sorry Em, but I just don't like people who lie, and hide things from people that they care about."

He played with some air in his hand, to destress, as he looked down on the ground and refused to meet her eye contact.

Aeris sighed again, and grabbed her wrist, getting her to sit back down on the swing with him. "Another thing that I dislike, are people running away from their own problems," he said quietly to Emerson, not understanding was the strong person he knew before, the person he wanted to bring to the ball.

"What happened, Em," he asked, not meeting her gaze still.

"Hey don't cry," Aeris said softly, and immediately all his anger dissipated away with the wind as his heart melted for the girl beside him. He raised her chin with his finger, and looked at her in the eyes, whilst wiping her tears away with his other hand.

"I'll be here for you, and you know that Em," he reassured her with a gentle voice.

"Emerson, could you say something?" Aeris said, not letting go of her face as he continued to wipe her tears until there was none left to wipe.

"You didn't ruin everything. You merely hid the truth from us, and even though that was wrong, but at the very least you're okay. It's only in the early stages," he sighed, and seeing that she had stopped crying, pulled her close to him, giving her a big hug, laying her head against his chest.

"Yeah, everything's all right now. Let's make the best use of tonight, and we'll go see the doctor again tomorrow? We'll see if he has any further diagnosis," Aeris said, kissing her lightly on the forehead and stood up from the swing.

"Want to take some polaroids? We're already here," he offered a small smile.

He messed with some of the items available for them to use as props, and set up the polaroid camera facing the backdrop that made both of them look amazing.

"It counts down 10 seconds before taking, so ready... go!" he ran from the camera back to Emerson, draping an arm across her and smiling playfully at the camera; and just at the last second before the camera snapped, decided to kiss her on the cheek, capturing that moment forever.

Aeris was surprised when she kissed him on the lips, and even after the camera flashed, he deepened the kiss, which was caught on camera again - making it two polaroids of them kissing. He slid his hand up her hair, and tugged her close, nipping her lips gently.

He smiled against her lips, kissing her for several more seconds before pulling away. "I'm gonna go grab our polaroids," he said quietly, and went to take the two polaroids, handing one to her.

"We.. we look pretty cute ain't it?" Aeris commented, the picture capturing their features perfectly, the backdrop beautiful under the starry night sky.

"Here's one for you to keep, and one for me. Make sure that you put it somewhere safe," Aeris winked at her, leaning back a little and letting the swing go back and forth, creating a gentle lull for both of them.

"Do you want to go back to the dance or you want to go back to the dorms?" Aeris pulled her closer, and breathed in her scent, wondering why he did he get so angry with her.

"You are absolutely right about that. Let's head to the ball room now," Aeris nodded his head, standing up and offering his arm for Emerson to take.

Katia walked in hand in hands with Maya.

Maya was smiling.

Katia lead Maya to the swing ((is it a swing? IDK )) that was there to take photos on.

Maya loved the feel of Katia's hand in hers.

Katia loved this warm feeling too even though she usually prefered things that were cold. That was strange but she liked it.

Maya sat down, she was excited.

Meghan slithered and decided to find a spot where we would see her well and easily. She thought of covering Katia’s or Maya’s face but she knew Katia wouldn’t approve.

Maya looked at Meghan. "You are very interesting," she said to Meghan.

Meghan tried nodding her head but it just looked weird. But she knew Maya had understood her. She understood her so well.

Katia didn’t really know how to put herself so she decided to just stand behind Maya and when the shooting would start she thought about smiling, hugging Maya and other things like that.

Maya knew what she was going to do when the camera starting shooting.

And the camera started shooting...

(Tatam!)

Maya turned around and kissed Katia.

Katia was frozen for a moment, she hadn’t been waiting for that but quickly recovered from the shock and kissed Maya back passionately. If Meghan could have whistled, she definitely would have.

She pulled away and blushed.

Katia blushed too, but with a big smile.
“Wow!”

Maya smiled. "I've been wanting to do that."

Katia smiled. “It was amazing!”
Meghan slithered towards them with the photos in her mouth but she was paying attention not to wet them.
That would be amazing souvenirs !

Maya gently took the photos. "We look adorable," she says smiling.

“We do” Katia said smiling, putting her chin on Maya’s shoulder.

“I love you” Katia whispered.

Maya smiles. She takes a few and gives them to Katia. "Here are yours."

"I love you too."

Katia smiles. She gently takes the photos and looked at them again happily.

“You wanna go out with me?” Katia asked tentatively, she couldn’t contain her question any longer.

"I'm glad I found you," Maya says.

"Yes, yes I do," she tries not to sound to eager.

Katia smiles even more (if it’s possible) and says “I am so lucky to have you, you are the best!”
