What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I believe this is a YA book I read probably 10-12 years ago. The main character is a girl who is somewhat of an outcast in the village she lives in with her aunts. I can't quite remember if she gets thrown back in time somehow or she normally lives in the time period.

The 2 scenes I really only remember is one at the beginning book where I think she accidentally destroys the town tavern. Something about ice and freezing things over during this.
The other scene I remember is towards the end of the book, she goes into the woods...it was rather descriptive with the magic and stuff they had to use to set up a spell. I think she followed the boy she was in love with? I want to say they were trying to get her back to her time period? Little sketchy on those details.
Any help or a point in a direction is much appreciated :) Thanks guys!!

I would love to track it down again, because yeah it was a great read! I wish I remembered more of the plot to make things a little easier though!!

Maybe she did...I remember reading it getting frozen over and one of the guys there was super angry with her. Maybe she accidentally set it on fire, he froze off the fire? I definitely remember reading about the ice. I feel like it was something about how she didn't know she had magic/couldn't control it
