Wow. This book is... a lot.
Somehow it covers just about every social issue teenagers face. Don't get me wrong, it was really good. It was beautiful and deep, and just kind of perfectly real? I don't know. One thing I didn't like was how it wasn't separated into chapters, only parts. It just made reading it a little harder than I'd like it to be. I also think that this is a book that really only applies to teenagers, because I've heard that it just doesn't resonate the same way. But, hey. That's just what I heard. I liked it's openness about mental health and I really related to the whole 'being a wallflower' thing. Avoiding conflict, and preventing it. I honestly don't have much to say about it, but I think that everyone should read this at least once in high school.
It's one of those books that never truly leaves you. Its words are imprinted in my mind.
