Heidi I am new to the group but excited to join it. I love to buy new books almost as much as I love to read them (maybe even more). I had already set a goal to not buy new books until I make some progress on my TBR pile. This group will hopefully give me the motivation to stick to it!

Heidi Two books are done, I am on my way!

2. "Softly Falling" by Carla Kelly

Heidi I really liked The Giver. It was a great book. I read it to my kids and they were begging to read each night. We are planning to watch the movie this weekend. I hope it lives up to the book.

Heidi Book 5: "The Longest Ride" by Nicholas Sparks. I loved this book. It was a classic Sparks novel: beautiful romance, heartache and plenty of tears of pain and joy. I am excited to see the movie in a couple of weeks. That is the advantage of having a book sit in your "to be read" pile for so long, do you not have wait years for the movie to come out.
