9. Hellsing vol.1 by Kohta Hirano (This is a manga with a vampire as a character and some bats drawn in the story.)

10. The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger (has a horse on the cover)

11. Biggie and the Mangled Mortician (Biggie #2) by Nancy Bell (There is a big crow on the front.)

12. Venus on the Half-Shell by "Kilgore Trout" (There are a dog and an owl on the cover and everyone is standing on a giant clam shell. Also, there were cat-people and cockroach-like aliens among others throughout the book.)

13. The Wolves in the Walls by Neil Gaiman (has wolves throughout the book as well as a pig puppet. This is a children's book.)

14. Flotsam by David Wiesner (has fish on the cover as well as inside the book. Other pictures include a turtle, a group of seahorses, and a family of squid to name a few. This is a children's book.)

15. Because of Winn-Dixie by Katie DiCamillo (Winn-Dixie is the name of the dog in the book and on the cover. There is also a parrot named Gertrude in the story.)

16. Good Dog Carl by Alexandra Day (There is a picture of Carl the dog on the cover.) This is a children's book.

17. The Elephant and the Bad Baby by Elfrida Vipont (There are pictures of elephants all the way through the book. This is a children's book.)
