I appreciated the structure of the story -- the main body of the plot takes place within two weeks right? Hillary is on a deadline to decide who this child is. That brought an extra tension to the story. Do you tend to like stories that are structured like this? Do you think they are more difficult to write?

Yes, I liked the structure of the story...I'm a big fan of structure and organization! :)
I'm not a writer, but I would imagine it would be easier to write a story with that kind of deadline--it would be easier to figure out how to structure the story.
It did really add to the tension--it was nice when Hilary started taking Jean out, but I knew it couldn't last for long before he had to make a decision.

The structure made for a very compelling read, I could hardly put the book down by the time I got to the half way point. But I felt really nervous toward the end as to the outcome!
