What are your thoughts so far? Do you like Cath? Reagan? Let us know in the Comments!

Arianna Lekhraj | 27 comments Mod
Cath is so relatable. She acts like there's nothing special about her. She's just a normal teenager trying to navigate her way through college. I'm really liking it so far.

Kris I am Cath, Cath is me, we are one and the same. I have a feeling this will be me next year.

Yeah. I feel like if I end up going off to college this will be my life. But I love my job so I'm probably going to stay home

Those were my thoughts as well. I want to reread this book right before I go off to college. Which will be a while, but still. Her thoughts are so similar to what I feel I would think as well.

It's. So. Relatable. I. Can't. Deal. With. Emotions. TOO. MANY. FEELS. ARE. YET. TO. COME.

Thanks for the warning, Austin. But I actually haven't really had that many feels so far. When I read, I sometimes have a heart of stone. The only books I've ever cried while reading were Allegiant and The Fault In Our Stars.

I'm in a book hangover from Dash & Lily's Book of Dares. It's pretty annoying

I read the Divergent trilogy in the summer and I'm still in a bit of a hangover. It's my favorite series ever.

I only read the first one and started the second but I don't know. I can only take a certain amount of dystopian at a time

It is amazing. And whatever you do, don't be spoiled for Allegiant. I was, and it wasn't pleasant.

Austin Webberly | 95 comments Mod
Too late for that. But see I was spoiled for divergent too but I still liked it

Arianna Lekhraj | 27 comments Mod
You were spoiled for Allegiant?

message 14: by Austin, The Main Mod of the Group (new) - rated it 5 stars

Austin Webberly | 95 comments Mod
Yeah...stupid internet happened

message 15: by Kris (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kris That one thing I hate about fan stuff on the internet, they never seem to think about the other people who are out there who are late to reading a book. They constantly post spoilers and with giving a warning. I was spoiled for so many books last because of instagram last year it was ridiculous.

Silly internet people (sarcasm)

message 17: by Arianna, The Writer Who Is Also Exceptionally Smart (new) - rated it 4 stars

Arianna Lekhraj | 27 comments Mod
Yeah. I was never really spoiled by the Internet, because I'm not on social media sites, but I was spoiled for The Lightning Thief last year in class. My class was watching the movie and one kid in my class said out loud who the Lightning Thief was. I was so mad because I literally had the book in my desk just waiting to be read.

This is why I love knowing about books that people at school don't know about

I usually do too, but a few of my friends actually pressured me into reading the Percy Jackson series.

I know, and it's like one of my favorite series ever. I don't know why I didn't think I'd like it.

I watched the movie first because I wasn't into reading back then. Then I watched the movie after reading the book and in 5 minutes I couldn't watch it

message 23: by Arianna, The Writer Who Is Also Exceptionally Smart (new) - rated it 4 stars

Arianna Lekhraj | 27 comments Mod
Yeah the movie gets annoying after watching it more than twice. I feel because its not that accurate.

message 24: by Austin, The Main Mod of the Group (new) - rated it 5 stars

They shouldn't have made them movies.

message 25: by Arianna, The Writer Who Is Also Exceptionally Smart (new) - rated it 4 stars

Arianna Lekhraj | 27 comments Mod
Yeah

message 26: by Kris (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kris The movie so terrible because after Rick sold the movie rights he offered to help the directors and producers if they wanted him to and they turned him down.

message 27: by Austin, The Main Mod of the Group (new) - rated it 5 stars

Austin Webberly | 95 comments Mod
See this is why if something that I write gets turned into a movie, I'm going all Stephen Chbosky on it and writing the script

message 28: by Arianna, The Writer Who Is Also Exceptionally Smart (new) - rated it 4 stars

Arianna Lekhraj | 27 comments Mod
Definitely. They weren't even twelve or thirteen in The Lightning Thief.

message 29: by Kris (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kris SAAAAME!!
