Leslie | 16369 comments May turned out to be a poor reading month for me but hopefully June will be better! I don't have many plans except for the buddy read of Atlas Shrugged and a couple of mysteries - Please Pass the Guilt by Rex Stout & Children of War by Martin Walker.

Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin, his assistant, are such fun for mystery fans. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do - I remember that Too Many Cooks has Wolfe leaving his home, which is pretty unusual.

Stephen Harvey | 2 comments My book for this month is The Secret Garden. I have read most of the children’s classics when I was young, but somehow missed this one. I am loving it.

Kim (kimborams) | 517 comments Ended the month having completed the classic Middlemarch by George Eliot
- rated this one 3* (7/10). My review is here:-
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Ended the month having only completed 13 of 23 provisionally-targeted books - the remainder will be rolled over to future months. Won't have to be so ambitious in future!!
