Who's excited about the new Cardan book????

me!! but i still have to read queen of nothing tho.. i'm not the biggest fan of this series. i like it, but it's simply not a favorite of mine. but cardan is my favorite character so i'm excited

OMG, definitely ME!!!! I need to know what happens next for Queen of Nothing and some pasts for Cardan...

Omg when I found out about this I LOST MY SH*T
I didn't think something good could happen this year but here we are, Cardan coming to bless us all with his presence!
He is definitely an all-time favourite character of mine!

I really loved Cardan. He’s absolutely amazing!!! Jude was okay for me, she was really clever and cunning and that I can appreciate

This is one of my favourite series ever so I am super hyped!!!

Okay, thoughts on Taryn?

I don’t like her. I understand what she did and why but to beatray a sibling that you’re supposed to be that close too, especially a twin.... I couldn’t be able to forgive her

Taryn...I am betting that she will get with the Ghost. since in Queen of Nothing, Holly Black writes that the Ghost looks at her a lot...

I still have to read queen of nothing, but I’m very excited about the new Cardan book !

Personally, I never liked Taryn
I simply didn't vibe with her from the beginning

It weirds me out how Jude and Taryn looks EXACTLY the same (well, not to Cardan xd), but in my mind they look different because their characters are so different.

In my mind they did too! And because of that sometimes I forgot that they were twins 😂

In my mind Taryn and Jude aren’t twins is like... I only remember that when they mention it in the book. I can’t imagine they are alike 😅

I completely agree! I think it's so crazy how different they are. The only time Taryn showed any sign of being like Jude was when she killed her crappy husband. I was so proud of her. (not proud enough to particularly like her but proud nonetheless) I've always wanted to read a book through Cardans point of view. I AM SO EXCITED!!

You know because it's from Cardan's PoV that it's going to be dry, witty, and sarcastic.

I mean, here we were all thinking Cardan was horrible for betraying Jude, and then he just turns around and says, "I did it for a prank."

I mean, out of all the books I've read, that is the first time someone's 'betrayed' someone to pull a joke on them.

Like, it was kind of weird, saying to Jude 'Yeah, it was a prank, get over it.' and then he was all over Jude, loving her so much

I'm SO pumped for the book. Holly Black knows what the people want!!

I'm also actually kind of surprised! I thought that she might do more books in the universe but I wasn't certain AND I didn't think it would be so soon after the release of QoN. Anyway, I'm not complaining tho...

You know, it's actually kind of amazing to have a MC like Jude. Yeah, yeah, most female characters can be all like "I'm kind, selfless, and honest, and amazing!"

Jude isn't like that, she's cunning, she does things for herself, she fights, at times, she's not nice. But we all love her so much because her character is real

There have been so many times in books when the MC does something nice and I'm like "Noooo why would you do that take revenge do it do it do it!"

I agree with you! I loved this series because it was something fresh and new. And Jude when she said if she couldn’t be like them she’d be so much worse. Was shocked but so proud that they made the MC like that.
