an english pub style bar where the bar is in the middle of the room and tables and chairs are around it

mike walked into the bar and began to get the place ready for when the customers began to come in. he began to get the place in order.
Alexis stepped into the bar and collapsed her umbrella before running a hand through her damp hair. She had needed to get out of the house and this place was really the only place left open for her to hide.
"welcome to cheers i'll be with you in just a moment" mike said as he was finishing setting up
"No rush I've for all night" she assured him taking a seat on a bar stool.
He finished setting up "alright what can I get you?" He asked
"Something strong." she shrugged watching her m
A little weary he nodded and began to make her a drink
"What's with the look?" she asked putting her chin in her hand.
"It's nothing I just never had a women come in here and order a strong drink it would usually mean something is wrong" he said as he made her drink
"Broke up with the boyfriend a week ago. Parents are now disappointed in me." she rolled her eyes
She pushed the sleeves of her shirt up to show the rings of bruises around her wrist.
He was shocked when he saw the bruises "what the hell" he said as he looked at each one
"Oh these aren't the worst, these are just where he grabbed me." she told him
"Well don't worry he won't be coming here" he said
"You don't know that. He could walk in the door right now." she pointed out
"Good point do you have a picture of him?" He asked
"Are you really going to keep a paying customer away?"
"Any man who harms a women isn't welcome here" he said
"You should tell that to my parents." she sighed. "So what are you making me to drink?"
"You wanted a strong drink I'm making you a good drink called jump into a open grave" he said
"You know I'm not really sure if you were actually suggesting that or not." she muttered((OMG You made me a mod?))
[yup lol]"would you want him to come in here?" he asked
"Oh God no." she shook her head quickly
"ok then what does he look like?" he asked
She sighed and pulled her phone out, flipped through her Facebook pictures and showed her a picture of them together and then handed her phone over.
he observed the photo then handed the phone back to her
"So what's in my drink?" she asked
"the best liquor i wanted to get you" he said as he finished it and handed it to her
"And how much is it going to cost?" she asked pulling her debit card out of her purse.
"Okay then." she smiled and smelled the drink before she took a drink of it.
"Strong that's for sure, but you added something fruity as well." she tried to place each taste.
he smiled a little bit good to see someone knows flavor
"Ugh and there's an undertone of something, something else." she took another drink trying to place it.
"So are you going to tell me what's in it?" she asked putting her glass down, rolling it between her hands.
"a bar tender never tells his secrets" he said with a smirk
"So then does it have a real name, because the other name is just odd."
"Cool. I'm Alexis by the way." she stuck her hand out to him.((We are going to a movie in half an hour so I won't be on for a while ))
He took her hand and shook it "my name is mike" he said
"Nice to meet you." she withdrew her hand and took another drink
"Parents came to my house unannounced and lectured me." she shook her head
"I don't know. He was a good guy, and they got completely hung up on him, they still are even though they know. They keep making excuses for him."
