Gods, goddesses, and creatures of myth! I chose this book because it's a required reading. I've read other versions of Greek myths before, but not this one yet. I expect to be familiar with the stories here already, but I also expect more in-depth versions of what I already know.

I've been a huge fan of Greek Mythology all my life. Happily, I have instilled this love into my children who embrace any book, movie, assignment, or activity that has anything to do with Mythology. And Edith Hamilton was my introduction!!Required reading couldn't be more charming!
It's funny how my first memory of Greek mythology is Disney's Hercules. I feel so silly for my past self now, and tons more educated even though I'm only around 35% into the book.
Cool choice! I first read this back in high school (required reading too) and I totally fell in love with mythology because of it. Have fun reading!
I am done! I liked it but...I wish it wasn't required reading...BUT if it weren't required reading I wouldn't have read it! Oh the conundrum. But really though, I enjoyed it. It was hard for me to read, like it took me two months to finish! But it took me around 6 days to finish the 500 page book. Anyway, here's my review.
