Have you read Hagenheim or Thornbeck series by Melanie Dickerson? Or Noble Knights by Jody Hedlund? Those are good lnes!! 😃

Have you read Hagenheim..."
No I sadly have not. But they are on my "to-read" self on Goodreads! :)

You definitely should read them soon!! I've almost all of them twice! 😄 (and I'm ready to again!😉)

Really?! Isn't there like 12 books in the series?

In the Hagenheim series, there's almost 11, the 11th coming July 7. Ive reread the first 7. The 8th was NOT my favorite, so I'm having a hard time rereading it. And the 9th and 10th I've read more recently, but still REALLY want to reread them! Just gotta make time... 😁 The Thornbeck series I've not reread, but been thinking about it maybe soon.

That sounds like they are really good! What was it about the 8th book that you didn't like as much about? You don't have to say if it would contain spoilers...

I guess I just didn't like the story, I felt like it was written by a completely different author! It had a lot of flashbacks, and I guess the main thing I didn't like, I shouldn't say, for it would be a spoiler. 😋😄completely
But, that's just my opinion. I know some people have really liked it. I would still encourage you to read it! (And the whole series!) AMAZING series! 😄

Thank you for recommending them! I borrowed book one from my library and I should be able to read it in about 6 weeks :)
Hi! My name's Allyson and I'm 16 years old. I like a lot of different genres! Really, if it's clean, interesting, and adventurous I'll read it. I do really like young adult though so I'm looking forward to finding some more good ones!
I also hope to be an author one day, Samantha! I love writing!! BTW, you said you like fantasy, do you have any you could recommend? I'm interested in reading more fantasy but it's hard to find clean fantasy!

There is one trilogy you might be interested in called The Traitor's Game. I have only read book 1 and 2 so far. The only thing is the books have a bit of violence. I looked it up on common sense media (a clean app) and it said ages 12+ should be able to read it. There is some kissing. No sex. No language. I think you'd like it :)
Thanks! I'll look it up!😀 I don't mind some violence as long as it doesn't go into to much detail.

I was fine with the violence and I am 14, but I have been called a more mature reader I guess.
Definitely looks good!! But I don't have any access to it!!😫 I'll have to order it from another library so it'll be awhile before I'll be able to read it.

Oh, bummer!

Hi Emma! 😄

My favourite genres are historical fiction and fantasy, but I will read just about anything fiction :D
Although YA isn't what I mainly read, I do love them when I read them, so I'm hoping to add more great YA novels!

I am so glad you could join, Nichole!

My name is Husna and I'm 17 years old, and hopefully in my final year of high school (I don't know if I can handle an extended matric year :( )
I mainly read YA, but recently I've unconsciously been drifting into adult fiction. I'm not quite ready to grow up though, so I won't explore more o the adult section just yet. I'm a huge fan of historical fiction, and anything that's has psychological suspense. My favourite book, The Thief, by Megan Whalen Turner, is a perfect example of that.
If you haven't read it, please do, then tell me what you think. I'm hoping that the entire series will one day become a classic. :)

Hi Ava. I also wanted to have my writing published before I graduate, but I don't think that's working for me. But I hope you get yours published.
What short story are you writing? (genre, target audience, etc.) (if you don't mind me asking).
If you need help finding a publisher, you could try queryletter.com, I subscribed to them awhile ago, and they send some really good tips on how to find a publisher, and how to land a deal (disclaimer: I haven't tried it, so I can't say if it works, but it sounds good so ;) ....)

Hi Husna! Glad you could join us! 😄
Hey, I've just got to say for fellow writers on here y'all should check out the young writers workshop. It's a place for young writers to learn about writing and it has a wonderful community where you can chat with other writers and get opinions and critique on your work! I hope to join sometime after I graduate this fall! 😁
