Noooaarrgghhh! What was that? That ending? What we got to see was Merlin passing away from old age. "The end of the ends" Like yo' we didn't even get to see Tedros and Agatha get married by the priest at the wedding. I don't know where to begin. I am gonna try to cover most of the characters. I am glad Sophie and Hort get to have their happy ending. I was so worried that maybe the author really did kill off Hort. Ooo! I want to see Sophie and Hort get married next. I am not surprised Hort and Nicola did not last at all. Let's be honest Hort always loved Sophie more. Plus, now Nicola has some rebound named Yoshi. Anyway, the mistral sisters are back in jail and the snake Japeth was behanded by the sword Excalibur. Did anyone else thought Bettina (aka) Betty was gonna survive that fall? For sure, I thought she was gonna make a comeback. Welp Betty of the Camelot Courier didn't make it. Unfortunately, Robin Hood didn't make it either. Neither did Guinevere. Too much death, the snake did a number on them. Poor Jacinda the Queen of Jaunt Jolie who lost her daughter Betty at hands of that snake. I can't believe though that Dot mother turned out to be Marian. That makes Dot half Ever. You know your witches got my chocolate eating girl back. Anadil with her rats and Hester with the demon tattoo. These 3 are gonna be the new sheriff of the woods. It was so funny when Hester called Anadil her girlfriend. Like are they flirting? This for reals? Either way I support them if they do decide to date. I like how the author added gay characters like William and Bogden into the mix. I want to learn more about those two. Any who, who knew Reena the ever girl was gonna turn out to be such a fierce Princess Warrior. I always assumed she was an airhead for hanging out with Beatrix and Kiko. Not a fan of Reena older brother Kaveen who I wonder if he ever got out of prison? I wonder if Princess Uma still loves Kaveen despite you know the whole wanting to turn her in to get into his father good graces. That is a story we didn't get much closer from. Hmm...King Teapea the cat of Agatha, I wonder if he was also at the wedding? Most likely the cat was. I wonder if this the end? I want more stories about the School of Good and Evil. I hope the Author considers to write about other characters. So many to choose from, I still want to see Agatha and Tedro get married off by the priest. As well as Sophie and Hort get married too. I need more closure please... >.<"

As merlin says, "The work is done." As much as I love this series, I think it was wrapped up perfectly. All the main characters of the past generation were dead, and it symbolized the new beginning of an era and the end of the Tale of Sophie and Agatha.

No! I still need more! I want to see Agatha and Tedros get married by the priest. Like I felt robbed of an ending over here. Instead of getting to see them get married we saw Merlin pass away from old age. I don't know if they still went through with the wedding or not. Did they decide to postponed the wedding due to Merlin passing away? Or did they still get married anyhow because that's what Merlin would have wanted for them. I need answers... >.<"

I totally agree with you Bell, like I want to see some more weddings. Hopefully the author continues doing books for this series. Maybe on different characters or stuff. Like I would really enjoy reading about the other characters too. Doesn't have to be Agatha and Sophie story, could be someone else, or someone new? It would make things more lively. Plus we get to see the old characters again.

it's hard for authors to wrap up long stories . . . many people might not like the endings, so they have to be careful about how much they can put out there. I mean, what do I know, really, but all I do know is my opinion; at least we got to see some of the wedding at all. I have to say, just that much surprised me. Pleasantly surprised me.

Oh my god! I was in tears with that ending and I still can’t believe we didn’t see Tedros and Agatha get married by the priests. And Merlin 😭😭 but I loved the book so much.

Oooof. I actually cried when I realized it's the last book.

I definitely did cry when HORT and Sophie kissed because that’s what I have been waiting since book 1. Why did he have to finish it. I always wish for soman to post like a small story saying what happened after

When I flipped the last page I was like, what?! this can't be!!!
Even though the book was really good, I hated the last chapter. Why kill Merlin?! that was sooo not needed! And I missed a look to their future, that stuff like, ten years later or something.

in answer to @yuki and @ovidio - I TOTALLY AGREE!!! I cant believe soman would just leave readers hanging like that!! like, we NEED more closure! also, it feels like he just wasnt bothered to write any more, which really sucks. like he was GETTING BORED of SGE , which as an author is NOT allowed!!! (I should know, I write my own stories and wrote a fanfic continuation of the end of ends)

I was absolutely balling when Hort “died” like it was so sad, I went into a mental breakdown for like three days. But when he comes back in the last chapter I was sooooo happy because like hophie just needed to happen, like I wouldn’t have been able to live without it.

But srsly tho why did he need to kill off Merlin? I dunno if anyone really realises but like teddy Agatha hasn't had a father figure and i kinda prey for either sader Or merlin to be one for her but all of them die!

And you know what's worse. In the third book, I don't get why we all hate villains like japeth but love people like rafal
