(view spoiler)
Finding it easier to be a talkative ball of angst then the quiet girl in the corner, Peyton finds herself usually in the midsts of gossiping with higher ranking ladies then her own people of Caste 5. Peyton has an easily attractive aura that others find ease with her. Although her quick flashes of high energy can wear some people down. She simply just has no problem with sympathizing with the people around her at the time. As much as she is a performer and loves center stage she has an odd stress of not being able to rehearse in front of others. But if you put Peyton in a situation of entertaining and doing her job she will do it with ease. Though it is taboo for a performing five at a party to chat with the partiers, the many gents and ladies at the party have been commonly acquainted with her from past unacceptable intrusions. Her bubbly personality and quick wits kept others from questioning the her status. Peyton has found it easy to listen in on many of her superiors while on the job. For a girl her age and in her position she certainly has over heard and heard first hand, from the younger more naive upper class-men, many dirty secrets. She surely knows more dirt than she should. On many occasions she may have ratted information to the wrong person, but no one traces these things back to her or suspects of the young performer despite her high demands and reputation. Unintentionally Peyton has learned of those who are on rebel sides and have information on that, thank goodness she realizes to keep her mouth shut on such topics. Always laughing away, Peyton aims to please. Laughing for her is also usually a way to break ice, when she is in awkward situations she can't help but laugh. Peyton also tends to be to pushy person. She usually is unwilling to bend to others will when she tends to do so on others unintentionally. That being one of her faults, it comes in handy when rehearsing with a partner to get a routine down or trying to convince someone. Peyton tends to have a higher energy level than most and generally talks louder, faster, and usually gets off topic. She has always been a hard to keep track of and keep her attention. Though when she wants to do something or listen her attention is all yours.

Perry knew he has to spend more time with the selected girls, of course. However, he never actually did it. Which was frustating, because it seemed like he kind of lost interest with The Selection. Perry used his condition as an excuse--oh, look, it was actually a perk-. People agreed that he needed time, but not the suprisingly stubborn royal planner. Perry was forced to run away from his room by himself, because it was better than listening to her scolding him non-stop.

How long are you planning to rot in here? Don't say that you need time, you had enough! So what if you forget about them and now you absolutely have no idea who are they, re-know them! Move your *ss from the chair and start making interaction with anyone other than your dog! She ranted at him.

So he did left his room. His first instinct was to hide somewhere, but Emery was right too. If he didn't start now, then when?

When he walked passed the music room, Perry remembered one particular footage from the first day of The Selection. A name crossed his mind; Peyton. He took it as a cue from the universe, and he started there. So, he entered the music room, picking a couple of books and hurried to Peyton's room.

After he arrived, Perry just standing still in front of the closed door, wondering if it was a good idea or not--but, nah, he could always improvised. Or escape from the window if things went wrong-. So, he exhaled a deep breath, taking few steps forward. Then, he knocked the door.

Peyton had been rehearsing a dance to clear her mind. After all that had happened here at the palace and so much time to torture herself in her mind Pey needed to keep herself busy.

She felt like she had been at the Selection for so long, Why has it felt like years have gone by? Peyton came to a conclusion that time had decided to torture her. Often when not strolling around aimlessly she would be kicking her feat across the floor staring at the ceiling. Thinking of the many tragic accidents that these walls have witnessed. The recent death of the Selected girl, Aphrodite, had flung Peyton back quite a few years when someone she loved very much died. In order to not have a panic attack at the thought of being in the very place that cursed event happened she would play some music on a player. And dance.

In a fitting leotard with a long ballroom skirt she would jump and choreograph in the much to spacious room. Her large bedroom alone had enough space for her to choreograph and it had surprisingly nice acoustics. The songs always held harsh memories and sad feelings. Seldom did Peyton dance or practice any upbeat song.

Her more unusual contemporary dancing was her favorite. Peyton felt she could best express her thoughts. Peyton brought up her left leg creating a straight line from ankle to ankle perpendicular to the wooden floor. Her face contorted in a odd sorrow as she thought of the last goodbye she said to him so long ago. When she moved into the form and rolled back down the knocking sounded across the room. Much louder then the low volume music playing behind her. On her way down she nearly lost balance and had to catch herself.

Peyton stood up slowly. Other than her maid who else would possibly come to her door. She wasn't particularly close with any of the girls quite yet beside one. But even then they always met in the garden or music room. She clicked the little stereo off and crossed her room to the door and swung it open. Keeping herself composed for any surprises she nearly lost herself to seeing the Prince of all people at her door.

Of all people?! Her heart skipped but she pushed aside all her past thoughts on what was history and shoved the wretched feelings deeper. Peyton nodded her head shaking away the heat that feathered her cheeks, still a little baffled, "Well... Hello there." She swallowed before a smile spread lightly on her lips. No no no, stop being happy you goof, she scolded herself, You need ask him why he's here. Pey shook the thoughts away crooking her head to the side like always, "Is there something I can do for you?"

(( I know, he's such a puppy ))
Peyton opened the door, and Perry gave her a wide, happy-go-luck smile, while his hands and the books were on his back. "Hey, Peyton. Say, is it a bad time for me to show up in front of your room all of the sudden? And before you slam that door on my face, let me get this clear, I'm not here to do anything creepy."

Before she could answer to his question, Perry already continue to talk. "Oh, yes. Actually, I need your suggestion on something. And I have this feeling, for this particular question, it's only your opinion that I can buy."

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Without being able to help herself the smile broke again across her face. That dull ache in her heart disappearing. "Of course," her words relaxed and light again. She looked around and down that herself seeing that she was not necessarily wearing the most appropriate attire but she was at least still covered so she ignored that fact. "Do you want to come inside?" she gestured back into the room, "Or would you rather adventure somewhere crazy?" She bounced slightly in anticipation of why he was here of all places.

"Do you want me to come inside?" he asked back teasingly, leaning forward slightly. But quickly, he pulled himself and stand straight again. "Nah, it's actually a little bit embarassing, so maybe we can stay here? Away from the crowd? And a 39 years old woman who's going to kill me if I do one more stupid thing?"

Perry brought his right hand to the front, showing Peyton an old-covered book. "I need your suggestion. I want to take music thing seriously and I need to practice. Like really practice, not just randomly playing by ears." he said, waving the book. "So, which one is the best for me? This is a Chopin's Nocture for the Piano, or--" He raised his other hand, showing the second book and continued, "--Piano for Dummies?"

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Her head took a spin as he leaned closer. Yes they were a good distance away but it felt to close for her, making her heart beat faster. Then he suddenly jolted away and with that she repressed the feeling. Again with that ridiculous feeling. "What every you say. I have no problem standing at my door," she joked back with a smirk.

Peyton's eyes widened and the playful smile shifted to a look of awe. Then quickly changing to an 'are-you-serious?' look. "My options of choice are Chopin and Piano for Dummies?" She gave him an incredulous look, eyebrow raised.

"Then Piano for Dummies for sure," she said teasingly. Her classic smile twitched as she suppressed a laugh.

((yes, sorry. I had WB and I don't want to reply with crappy post to your awesomeness))

"Well, I do have a problem with standing in front of your door. Not particularly because it's your door or anything, it's just if I stand still more than 15 minutes, I'll kick something even when I didn't want to." he said.

"Since I can't read music sheet, I gotta learn from the basic, ain't I? And actually I brought the Chopin one so it could be less embarassing. By the way, in my defense, it's not random either, because--surprise, surprise-I happen to play Chopin several times. My favorite is Funeral March, because it gives my brothers and sisters nightmare everytime I make them hear me play it."

To her choice, he crooked a smile. "Perfecto. Now, be responsible to your choice and teach me piano using this book." he said, handing the Piano for Dummies book. "But for the early warning, I can be a... tough student to teach."
