Sara Rae | 13 comments He is one of my favorite authors so naturally this was my only choice for this week.

misplacedselchie | 347 comments I have this done for the week of "A book by an author you love but haven't read yet". So. Excited! Have you read the Rogues anthology yet???

Sara Rae | 13 comments I haven't but it's on my bookshelf!! I'll get to it when I have time, if that ever happens! He is great :)

Peter This book is definitely on my list as well! I love Rothfuss and can't wait for book three. Looking forward to reading more about Auri and getting some more insight into her character. I'm not reading it for this week, but let us know what you think after you read it.

Bruce Warren I have it, but haven't gotten to it yet. Can't wait to see how he flushes out Auri a bit more.

misplacedselchie | 347 comments I'll be reading The Rogues Anthology for the week that's a book with short stories if anyone wants the join. Rothfuss has a Bast story in it :D. I won't lie...that's the only reason really that I'm reading it lol

This sounds an interesting read so I have added it to my list and will figure out what week to fit it into.

Nancy (nancyland) I read this book over Christmas (Drat! It would have been perfect for Week 4), it's really different from the Kingkiller Chronicles, but such a beautiful read. I really really enjoyed it! Looking forward to hear what y'all have to say about it.

Jenna I'm also going to read this for week 4! Something to hold me over until the next Kingkiller book comes out!

Jenna What do you all think so far? I'm about halfway through and the writing is beautiful, but the story seems to just be about an OCD feral child picking stuff up and putting it down somewhere else.

Sara Rae | 13 comments So I'm waaaaay behind on books: I got busy with work and I just finished this one! (I suck, I know!) I agree that the writing is wonderful (Rothfuss has a way with words) but the story didn't captivate me has much as I expected it to. Somehow it just adds to the arrogance of Kvothe that I was frustrated with in A Wise Man's Fear. But I'll give it at least four stars despite my feelings about the arrogant path Mr. Rothfuss seems to be going down himself, the man sure can write!!
