Hehe! I actually HAVEN'T read Cinder :) I probably should......it's so popular!

Ok, when I say I've "started" Ender's game, I mean that I'm on page 4 xD
But I already love it! It's just a little weird that the narrator switches to "Ender said that" to "He said that" to "I said that," all talking about Ender. Aside from that, I am SOOOOO excited to continue.

Maybe :) I think we kinda have the same book taste? (view spoiler) I hope you enjoy the Silence of Murder! I was SO surprised when they unmasked who did the murder BUT you might not be....... xD

Hmm...I have a friend who's insanely good at detecting plots. I literally laughed when she sent me a text saying what she thought was going to happen since it was exactly right and she'd read like two chapters and predicted the climax of the book.

Well......tell me when you start reading and then tell me who you think the murderer is :)

I WISH I WAS LIKE THAT!!!!!!! xD

I suppose that the lunar chronicles are sort of predictable in the first books...I think that later on they get less predictable but this is coming from someone who isn't good at predicting these things...Anyway, I did predict the one about (view spoiler) so I guess that was pretty predictable.

Just finished reading Where the Red Fern Grows.Despite being set in a completely different country and era than where I live, the book was familiar in its own way.
The main character reminds me a bit of my sister... Growing up on a farm in the middle of nowhere, my sister became stricken with wanting a dog and begged my parents for years to get one, until finally one birthday they got her a puppy.... of course, he happened to be a hyperactive cattle dog, not a coon catching hound. but hey, what does it matter on a farm? (and yes, he just happened to be red, like the dogs in the story)
There are no raccoons in my country, but we do have possums, and plenty of them. And so, once again, my sister is somewhat like the main character, where she and her dog would hunt after the possums to get their skins. Ending up in the strangest of places, even in her late teens sometimes she would have sprung up a tree (don't ask me how) and scare the possum enough that it would rather face the dog!
I found the plot a bit predictable, for in every tale, where there is good and peace, so often it must come to an end in tragedy. The writer did not make it too over-dramatic, which I liked, nor was it an over-complicated book with dire straights should the protagonist fail to do something. Instead it was the simplistic tale of a boy and his love for his dogs.

Yep, all finished =) I am a bit of a bookworm and I read a lot, so it doesn't take me long to get through chapter books when they are interesting enough to read and I have nothing else to do with my morning!
